A capacity audience filled the main hall on a beautiful summer’s evening on the 2nd July. They were treated to an eclectic programme which highlighted the quality of musicianship amongst the pupils of Stradbroke High School.

Highly polished performances from the brass ensemble, samba group, choir and orchestra were enhanced by the fabulous ‘Orange Blues’ and a range of soloists. Particularly memorable were the brass solos of Josh Ryan and Jack Gionis and the vocal rendition of Handel’s ‘Dove Sei?’ by Jo Capp.

In addition, compositions by the ‘Amplifier’ groups demonstrated the maturity and expression of a number of budding song writers at the school.

Many thanks to all of the students and our dedicated team of music staff for their commitment and hard work in making the evening a resounding success.
