Ofsted Reports: Stradbroke High School stands out for Pupils’ Progress

Official figures recently released by Ofsted and the Department for Education show that our pupils’ GCSE exams results at Stradbroke High School in 2015 position the school in the top 4% of all schools nationally for the value that they add to their pupils.

  • In all subjects, including English, pupils of all ability make better progress than in the majority of schools with a "DfE Performance Table" Value Added score of 1038.6.
  • In maths, pupils of all ability make better progress than in any other school in Suffolk.
  • 5+A*-C (including English and maths) 70% (72% including all entries).

John Axtell, Deputy Headteacher at the school says “This data from Ofsted is testament to the high expectations that the school has for all pupils, their incredible hard work and the commitment of their teachers in supporting their progress. Pupils leave Stradbroke High School with the best possible results enabling them to continue succeeding into the future."
