Following the release of GCSE Results today, John Axtell, Head of School sends out the following important message:

I am absolutely thrilled with the results attained by the students at Stradbroke High School this year. They have been justly rewarded for the effort and commitment that they have put in during their time with us. These results are also testament to the dedication and hard work of our incredible teaching staff.

Sixty-two students sat GCSE exams this year, including the new more rigorous English and maths papers.

A stunning 87% of them achieved Grade 4 or above in English, and 82% achieved this in maths.

Impressively, 79% of our students reached Grade 4 or above in both of these subjects.

We are delighted for them, and wish them all the very best as they go on to further studies. We are confident that they will continue to be successful in all their future endeavours.
