The whole school went out to cheer on Stage Six of Britain’s premier road cycling race today which takes place entirely within Suffolk, a first for the county. The tour headed east from Newmarket and is on its way to the finish in the centre of Aldeburgh.

Amid slightly dubious weather, ( it was starting to rain as the cyclists approached) Stradbroke students were there to welcome the world’s top professional cyclists during the 183-kilometre stage as it passed through the centre of the village. Quite a memorable occasion for all our students and the whole village!
