On Tuesday 3rd July, the music department at Stradbroke High School welcomed over sixty excited and enthusiastic Year 5 pupils from our feeder primary schools to our annual music morning. The vast majority brought the musical instruments that they are learning at primary school in order to take a full and active part in the day.

Stradbroke High School has been awarded an ISM Bronze Certificate by the Incorporated Society of Musicians for recognition of the excellent work that it does for music in the school. This result is based on the fact that more than 10% of the GCSE Key Stage 4 cohort in 2017 took and achieved an A* - C in music. This puts Stradbroke in the top 526 schools across England.

Year 9 took part in a very successful and enjoyable geography field trip on Thursday 15th March 2018 at Flatford Mill. Despite the recent heavy rain, which meant some of the sites were flooded, everyone collected plenty of data, which we can look forward to analysing next lesson.
