County Music Success for Jessica and Josie

Many congratulations to both Jessica McInnes (Year 9) and Josie Palmer (Year 8) who have been awarded places in two of the prestigious county music ensembles. Josie auditioned and gained a place in the Suffolk Youth Orchestra to play French Horn, and Jessica auditioned on Cornet and was awarded a place in the Suffolk Wind Ensemble. This is a brilliant achievement, and we are proud of you both.

Saxophone Success for Musical Morgan.

Many congratulations to Morgan Roper in Year 11, for achieving a fantastic distinction in his recent Grade 4 Saxophone examination.

Musical Success for Talented Josie

Many congratulations to Josie Palmer in Year 8, for being awarded a coveted place in the Suffolk Youth Orchestra. Josie passed her Grade 5 Tenor Horn exam with distinction this year, and looks forward to playing French Horn in our county orchestra. This is a superb achievement and is totally deserved. Well done.

Cross Country Success!

Stradbroke High School took a strong team of over 30 pupils to the Suffolk Cross Country area trials in the stunning grounds of The Royal Hospital School near Ipswich. With between 200 - 300 pupils in each race all pupils that represented the school should feel very proud of themselves and their achievements today.

Stradbroke High School Summer Concert 2018

An appreciative audience of family and friends packed the main hall on Thursday 28th June for our annual summer concert. The evening opened with a polished performance of the iconic James Bond film theme 'Goldfinger' by the school's orchestra.
