Last Thursday, 9th July 2015, was our first, new look, Sportsday. With the support of pupils, parents and carers and staff a brilliant day was enjoyed by all. Individual pupils, parents and staff were all heard to say ‘best sportsday ever’!
Support had been provided by FOSH (Friends of Stradbroke High) in many ways including, giving medals, bibs, ice creams for participants, items for the assault course and time from members in helping to set up the day. Thank you to all…Continue

The whole of year 11 has been booked in to the Suffolk Skills Show in Ipswich on October 21st 2015. This event is the largest and most comprehensive careers show in the county. We hope that year 11 students will be inspired to new heights, thoroughly informed or that their original aspirations will be confirmed by this visit.

25 participants, the most yet at Stradbroke, set out on their Qualifying Expedition on the morning of Friday 5th June. On Friday 26th June, the school library hosted the final of our second Primary Book Mastermind.
Stradbroke, Worlingworth, Wilby, Fressingfield and Laxfield Primary Schools all took part and fielded the winners of their school heats. It's now a tradition that all those brave enough to take part in the School Heats of Book Mastermind go on a trip to the wonderful 'Aladdin's Cave' known as the Norfolk Children's Book Centre.
The centre is the brainchild of Marilyn Brocklehurst who is so passionate about children's literature that she has given over her home to be a shop. 6 pupils enthusiastically took part in this year’s Book Mastermind competition. The winner of the School heats was Aiden Perkins in yr 7 answering questions on a David Walliams book. There was a very good and lively audience.
Aiden elected to answer questions on ‘Gangsta Granny’ also by Walliams in the Area Final.

A capacity audience filled the main hall on a beautiful summer’s evening on the 2nd July. They were treated to an eclectic programme which highlighted the quality of musicianship amongst the pupils of Stradbroke High School.

In the Summer Term around twenty students took part in an extra-curricular project. The only brief was to produce a project on something they were interested in.
We met four times over the term to discuss progress (and eat biscuits!). The students could choose to undertake any topic and present their information in any way. The results were fantastic.
