Talented performing arts students from Stradbroke High School were invited by Suffolk County Council to open the county's prestigious 'Raising the Bar' education awards evening at Trinity Park in Ipswich on Monday 26th June. This annual event celebrates the success, achievements and hard work shown by individuals and educational organisations in Suffolk. Stradbroke High School was runner up in 2016 in the category of educational environment of the year.

VOSH discussed introducing shorts to the school uniform, these would be a set length, 129 year 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s thought it would be a good idea. We also said that we should ask the future year 7s what they thought as this would affect them too. The next stage is for Mrs Hurren to take the idea to Senior Management for consultation by the Governors.

We invited our Year 4 children for an activity morning at Stradbroke High school. They were given a variety of lessons from Maths to PE to PRE and Physics. SNAPCHAT – Dangers with new SNAP MAP
Snap Map lets people search for places such as schools and see videos and pictures posted by children inside. It allows others to locate exactly where you are, which building you are in and exact whereabouts within the building.
