Geography Field Trip to Flatford Mill

Year 9 took part in a very successful and enjoyable geography field trip on Thursday 15th March 2018 at Flatford Mill. Despite the recent heavy rain, which meant some of the sites were flooded, everyone collected plenty of data, which we can look forward to  analysing next lesson.

Year 7 and Year 9 Outstanding Football Wins

Congratulations to two of our football teams for playing outstanding games this week.

Year 7 beat Thomas Mills High School 6-2

Year 9 beat Thomas Mills High School 8-0

EEL Update

Over the term we have had an excellent talk from Emma Ford about the Paralympics, information on farm vehicles by William Lewis, a presentation on a variety of animals by Phoebe Smith and talks on eels and the Greek Alphabet by Mr Axtell and Mrs Hurren.

Well done to the Year 7's in particular who remained committed and who have challenged themselves by taking an active part.  We will have one more session next week with Jess Brown giving the talk and then we will have a break…

London Central Mosque Trip 2018

On 8th March we took 19 Year 10's and 16 Year 9's to London to visit the London Central Mosque at Regent's Park.  Fortunately the weather had improved and there were no delays although we were freezing eating our lunch in the park along with some rather unwelcome feathered friends.
