Governors

Welcome!

Welcome to the Governors' site, where you will find information about our Governing body and contact details.

The role of the Governing Body is to set the strategic direction of the school. The Governing Body acts as a 'critical friend' in ensuring accountability and is answerable to parents and the community. Governors provide both support and challenge.

NEW COMMUNITY GOVERNOR

I am pleased to announce that Elizabeth Soule has joined the SHS Governing Body as a Community Governor.  Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience from the Education sector into our Governing Body.

The Governing  Body has full membership which is a great  support to the school.

PARENT GOVERNOR

Following  the recent election process for the vacancy of parent governor I am pleased to announce that

Richard Pierce- Saunderson has been elected to the governing Body.

We now have a full and committed Governing Body at Stradbroke; a fact not shared by many schools in Suffolk.

Regards

Andy Smith
