By making Business Studies all about real life examples and engaging pupils in the world and issues around them, the Business Studies department is very pleased to have had 100% GCSE grades from A* - C in 2015.  With over 60% of the pupils gaining an grade A or A*, the pupils are to be congratulated on their hard work and commitment to doing the very best they could over the two years.
During the course, pupils are treated as company directors and often work in groups to develop presentations, pitches and considered debates pertaining to the financial, moral, social and cultural aspects of the subject - just as it applies in every day life. Pupils enjoy reading newspaper articles, researching current affairs and developing their own, alternative solutions to business issues facing local, national and international markets as they develop.
